VinylGUARD Floor Coating Services in the Carolinas | MARBLELIFE
Replace traditional wax with durable VinylGUARD protection for vinyl and PVC tile
VinylGUARD from MARBLELIFE Carolinas is an advanced floor coating option designed to reduce the ongoing cycle of waxing, stripping, and frequent buffing that can drain time and budgets in busy facilities. This system bonds to existing vinyl flooring and PVC tile to create a clear, hard wearing protective layer that helps resist scuffs, scratches, traffic lane wear, and staining caused by heavy daily use. For the Carolinas properties that need floors to stay presentable day after day, VinylGUARD is a practical way to maintain a cleaner, more consistent appearance with less disruption to operations.
Traditional wax finishes often require regular burnishing to keep their shine and can show rapid wear in high traffic areas. VinylGUARD is designed to hold its appearance longer without routine buffing, which can translate to fewer labor hours, fewer chemicals, and a more predictable maintenance routine. The result is a brighter, easier to clean floor that supports a healthier, more professional presentation in the Carolinas medical clinics, schools, offices, retail spaces, multifamily communities, and other environments where flooring performance matters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Vinylguard is a MARBLELIFE applied coating system that replaces traditional floor wax on vinyl and PVC tile. It creates a durable ceramic like layer that protects the surface, reduces scuffing, and makes routine cleaning faster and easier.
Traditional wax builds up, yellows, and must be stripped and reapplied on a frequent schedule. Vinylguard forms a bonded protective layer that does not need buffing, does not trap soil as easily, and provides a more consistent appearance over time.
Vinylguard is designed for resilient surfaces such as sheet vinyl, vinyl composition tile, and luxury vinyl tile in commercial and residential settings. The MARBLELIFE team will evaluate your floor during your estimate and confirm that this service is the best option.
Yes, Vinylguard is an excellent choice for facilities that place a high priority on hygiene. By removing the need for buffing and frequent stripping, the system helps reduce the spread of dust and contaminants while still delivering an attractive, easy to clean surface.
Service time depends on the size and condition of the area, but most projects are completed in a short time frame and scheduled to minimize disruption. MARBLELIFE Carolinas will review timing with you in advance so you know what to expect.
After installation, your technician will share a simple maintenance plan that usually includes dust removal with microfiber tools and regular cleaning with MARBLELIFE recommended neutral cleaners. This approach keeps the coating looking clear and helps extend its service life.
Vinylguard is engineered to provide excellent traction while still delivering a refined gloss. Many clients find that their floors feel more secure underfoot than they did with traditional wax, especially in areas that are cleaned and buffed frequently.
Yes, as part of the service MARBLELIFE technicians address many surface scratches and dull areas before they apply the coating. Vinylguard then helps hide minor imperfections and brings a renewed, consistent look to the entire floor.
Recoating frequency depends on traffic levels, type of facility, and how closely the recommended cleaning plan is followed. During your consultation, MARBLELIFE Carolinas will discuss your environment and suggest an appropriate maintenance schedule.
You can contact MARBLELIFE Carolinas by phone or through the online estimate request form to arrange a free on site evaluation. A friendly local representative will inspect your vinyl floors, explain the Vinylguard process, and provide a clear written proposal.

We had an excellent experience with Norbet and Patrick at MarbleLife of the Carolinas! Our granite countertops were 13 years old and showing some wear, including being in a house fire in 2012. I have been using various off the shelf wax containing products to try to restore the shine which resulted in a dull streaky finish on the counters. Patrick stripped away the gunk and polished our counters to perfection. I appreciate that he also replaced the silicone caulk between the counters and the wall. Patrick was very clean with his work, bringing in drop cloths for the floors and leaving no trace behind. I will definitely call Norbert when my other stone surfaces need work.Posted on Google
Jimmy MartinezFabian arrived on time on did a great job removing the etching we had everywhere on our marble kitchen countertops. The price was much better than other companies I contacted for same job. I would use again!Posted on Google
Mark VNorbert and his crew are fabulous. Norbert is detail oriented and knows his business. He was extremely timely and his restoration work across multiple types of surfaces was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend his services for those who need an expert.Posted on Google
Michael Torgerson (Michael David)Norbert and his team are incredibly professional and detail orientated. If you aren't happy....they aren't happy. They completed a large job on our residence consisting of fixing 2 large marble counter tops, cleaning/fixing grout in 4 bathrooms (showers and tiles), sealing and caulking everything. He even made a return visit personally to make sure everything was perfect. He is extremely knowledgeable and his level of attention to detail is unrivaled. Norbert and Marblelife of the Carolinas is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!Posted on Google
Nancy RhodesNorbert and Zach stripped and refinished my slate entryway, removing an amazing number of coats of inappropriate finish and dirt! It looks like a brand new beautiful floor. E AOur slate and marble floors were dull and sad-looking despite our repeated attempts to make them look good again. We thought that our only option was to live with the ugliness since tearing out and replacing them was cost-prohibitive. Our decorator recommended Marblelife - what a huge favor! Norbert inspected our floors thoroughly and provided a reasonable estimate for restoration, while educating us on the proper methods of cleaning in the future. After meticulous cleaning and polishing, the floors look fantastic - and for a fraction of the cost of replacement. I don't know if this previously sad-looking stone can be happy or not, but we sure are!Posted on Google
Beth HallNorbert's crew at Marblelife called prior to arriving, was polite and professional. They cleaned and resealed the tile/grout on the master bathroom floor. It looks new! I am very happy with Marblelife and will have them back to clean and seal tile/grout in the other bathrooms and in the kitchen.Load more
